In the heart of Houston's Galleria, a vibrant and eclectic dining scene awaits, with a plethora of options to suit every craving. For those seeking a unique blend of Asian fusion and boba, one spot stands out from the rest.
First Impressions
The interior of BOBO is a feast for the eyes, with its cute and nicely designed Kawaii decor that immediately catches your attention. The moment you step in, you're greeted by the signature BOBO bear on the wall, alongside other cool designs that add to the charm. The overall vibe is youthful and energetic, making it an excellent spot to hang out with friends or family.
From This Visit
So for my first time I decided to try the Signature Wrap with Chicken paired with a Yuzu Chili Sauce (Spiciest) and Creamy Garlic Sauce. The spiciest sauce, while not overwhelmingly spicy, added an interesting dimension to the dish (lokey could’ve been spicier tho). The wrap itself, similar to a crepe but with an elastic texture and mixed with omelette, was filled with chicken, the chosen sauces, and some lettuce, making for a satisfying and unique meal. Additionally, the DIY Boba drink was a highlight, with a wide range of flavors and toppings to choose from, including fruity, refreshing, and milk tea options. The combination of mango and rainbow jelly toppings with Classic Okinawa Milk Tea was particularly enjoyable and offered great value compared to other boba places.
Service & Value
The service at this Galleria spot was great, with friendly staff who were attentive and welcoming. Given its location in the same line as several other halal food spots, it's definitely worth visiting, especially considering the affordability. The value for money is excellent, making it an attractive option for those looking for a delicious and budget-friendly meal in Houston.
